I was walking through a garden in the southern United States, where the Fatsia japonica, feels quite at home. It can also be used as a houseplant. Its leathery leaves have such a unique shape that it is sure to make a lively accompaniment to any room. It's full and lush appearance reminds us of joy as the leaves seem to almost spray up from it's center.
This handsome and unique plant is a native of Japan.

- Strong indirect light or some direct sun is best.
- Water thoroughly when the top of the soil is dry . It will wilt if it has gotten too dry and will recover quickly, but best to avoid getting to that state.
- Fertilize regularly for best growth.
- A daily misting would be helpful, but not crucial.
